Five years may seem like just a marker of time, but for us, it carries countless choices, challenges, and persistence, and records every step CoinUp has taken from an idea to where it is today.

In 2021, I founded CoinUp, driven by a simple yet firm belief: digital asset trading should be simpler, safer, and easier to participate in.

Five years later, we are still moving toward this goal every day. As products, markets, and user needs continue to evolve, this belief has gradually become a clearer direction for CoinUp's next phase: "One account, trade globally, more assets, lower costs, a simpler trading experience."

This is CoinUp's original starting point.

For five years, this starting point has not changed.

Five Years, We Have Been Building

CoinUp started with spot and contract derivatives, and gradually expanded into US stocks, U-card payments, Simple Earn, Launchpad, Launchpool, CP Chain, payment institution services, and a partner system.

We continue to optimize our trading system, product experience, and asset management features, and have steadily expanded into more countries and regions, connecting users, communities, and partners from different markets and different languages.

But to me, CoinUp's growth has never been just about how many products were launched, nor just about how many markets were entered.

What truly matters is whether each product update solved users' problems, whether each new feature made trading simpler, and whether each system upgrade made users feel more at ease.

Therefore, while expanding product boundaries, we have always regarded security and compliance as the foundation for long-term development. Because we know that what users entrust to us is not just a trade, but a measure of trust.

On Our Fifth Anniversary, We Decided to Start Again from "0"

Standing at this fifth-anniversary milestone, we return to the original question:

What more can CoinUp do for its users?

Over the past five years, we have continuously added to the platform: more products, broader markets, and a more complete ecosystem.

Now, in this new phase, we want to deliver a truly meaningful subtraction for our users.

Lower transaction costs, lower barriers to entry, and a trading experience that is more direct and more pure.

That is why we have chosen "0 fees" as the core initiative of CoinUp's fifth-anniversary refresh.

For us, 0 fees should not be just a marketing slogan, nor merely a short-lived numerical concept.

It represents CoinUp's most direct response to user needs, and also a rethinking of the trading experience: the value created by the platform should return to users in a more tangible way.

The trading market is already complex enough; transaction costs should not become an additional burden.

Through 0 fees, we hope to make it easier for new users to get started, give active traders more flexibility in executing their strategies, and let every user who chooses CoinUp truly feel the change brought by this refresh.

A refresh is not just new visuals, new products, or new messaging.

A true refresh is about giving users a better experience.

From a trading platform to a more complete ecosystem

Over the past five years, CoinUp has evolved from its initial trading services into a digital asset ecosystem that connects trading, assets, users, community, and innovation. Starting from spot and futures, and derivatives, we have gradually expanded into U.S. equities, U-card payments, Simple Earn, Launchpad, Launchpool, CP Chain, and more innovative products, continuously expanding the ways users can participate in the market.

As CP upgrades to CPX, we are also rebuilding CoinUp's ecosystem value system.

In the future, CPX will further connect platform benefits, community participation, and more application scenarios, so that users are not just users of CoinUp products, but also participants and witnesses of ecosystem growth. Starting from "0 Fees," we hope to launch not just an anniversary campaign, but a new starting point for CoinUp's next phase of user experience.
